Private Buildings must Apply Green Building

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T. Purnama obliges all building in the capital to apply green building concept. At this moment, there are only 260 buildings have applied the concept.

Several flats will be also constructed by applying the concept. One of the flats is seven towers of Daan Mogot Flat.

City Targets Saving Energy 30 Percent with Green Building

Green building concept means building applies saving energy concept. Not only water, but also lighting and waste installation.

It is targeted that the concept application will save energy by 30 percent in 2030. In order to achieve the target, 30:30 commitment has been signed between Jakarta Provincial Government and International Finance Corporation (IFC).

“We need to cooperate in achieving the target,” he closed.
